2011 Branson Scenic Railway
America's love affair with the passenger train ride lives on in Branson. The Scenic Railway travels through the majestic foothills of the Ozark Mountains. The train ride consists of a 45 minute round trip that takes passengers (you!) through tunnels, over trestles looking over the mountainside, and through southern Missouri and northern Arkansas. You travel through the wilderness, see wildlife, and through old communities that can now only be found on old railroad maps.
On Saturdays you can ride the "5pm Dinner Train". You menu offers choices of Prime Rip, Baked Fish, or Rotisserie Chicken. Also included in the dinner cruise is a mouth watering selection of mash potatos and vegetable medley, dinner salad, black and white cake, and your choice of water, tea, or coffee. (Items can be subject to change throughout the Branson tourist season).
Please Note : If you plan on riding the Branson Scenic Railway in 2011 you should arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to the departure time. If you or someone in your party is in a wheelchair, you will be boarded first. Special needs customers are also boarded first.
Branson Scenic Railway "The Polar Express" During Christmas Season
The Train Ride takes you on a magical journey to the North Pole. Kids will get to meet Santa Claus, and carolers along the way. Kids also get a special gift. Everyone enjoys a cup of hot cocoa on the ride. Great family fun for families of all ages. 2011 promises to be the best season yet for the Branson Scenic Railway and Train Cruise.
